Whether you’re packing up your luggage and your kids luggage cases for a trip to Disney or Grandma’s, these new cool luggage designs, especially for kids, makes any trip a great adventure. Trying to plan for Spring Break, or summer, or any weekend at all, these days, seems to require packing up enough variety to suit instant changes in weather and extremes. So, not everything will easily fit into mom’s and dad’s luggage case, so necessity number 1 is for kids to have their own luggage.
Can Packing Luggage Be Fun?
To be sure, kids may lag in taking on responsibilities around the house, but when it comes to wheeling and even packing their own luggage case, that is a winner. You will be surprised and probably have a good laugh at what your little princess will want to bring along in that cute Minnie Mouse luggage case. No doubt the real dog and hamster along with her 20 stuffed animals including plush Minnie and Mickey and the host of her other Disney favorites will be stuffed in that case.
The Characters of Choice On the Case
You actually have a more than even Disney choice of some different styles, all unique, kids luggage each with special benefits for kids. The special designer Disney collection which of course include the hopeful hero Mickey Mouse, has special reverse curve handles that makes the handle work more comfortably for the kids. In past days you probably have seen your kids and others struggling with luggage that tips over and flops and soon there’s a crying child when you’re trying to catch that plane. These special kids luggage cases all of course easily available online–have special elevated wheels that keep the case off the ground when rolled, inline skate wheels, and weigh only 3.8 pounds, all making it a cinch for those active kids to roll. The kids will be leading YOU onto the plane. Of course, you can pick out not only Minnie Mouse or Mickey, but the cast of characters includes Pooh, Tinker bell, Nemo, Princess, Cars, and more. Oh, wait until you see how beautiful they are too with their hardshell glossy surface pictures.
For some boys, cute is just for lovers of Barbies and Princesses, but give these climbing boys spider man luggage and they are never dawdling over moving into your travel adventure plans. These spider man cases for kids have handles boys will adore because they are easy to pull out and push in–retractable. They’ll carry it on, push up the handle and know their special Spider man tools are safe in the 2 inside compartments.
Toting a Drawstring Bag through the Magic of Disney
If you indeed are going to Disney, even if it’s not the first time, kids will remember you and the trip forever. Nothing rates higher than the magic of the Magic Kingdom with its expanded New Fantasyland. Your kids will want to preplan beginning with nightgowns and PJ’s in their character to match their luggage case. A couple of special toys are in order for carrying along on the lines, so get a matching Minnie Mouse drawstring bag–kids all love these drawstring bags. Funny they are often called a drawstring shoe bag but the only shoes you’ll find inside are Barbie’s high heels. Find all those Disney character drawstring bags online also.
From Zany to Proud
Now there are still kids who can take or leave Minnie, Mickey, Barbie and Fairies fantasy, because they want to feel more grown up. These kids like to show off some national pride, and there are also available some cool polycarbonate Heys x case Nations. These luggage cases for kids weight only 5 pounds, so kids will wheel proudly. Still more choices are for kids who like the zany humor of Angry Birds, or the thrill of sci-fi like Skylanders, and you can find these characters dressing up some wonderful Polycarbonate Hard Shell luggage cases as well.
Don’t forget to pack some pencil cases (in character designs of course) filled with some markers, for those times at the restaurant in between the ipods.
Have a safe, fun filled trip, I know you will be well packed.
Moms, if you have trouble teaching the kids about healthy nutrition, trash pack characters are here to help in a unique round about and cool way. Today, kids of course love the gross and ugly, and seem to just understand that stuff like the annoying orange antics, and monsters, reveal that just their opposites are what’s real. So these trash pack toys are so putridly macabre, and horrible that the opposites of what they represent are understood by kids as acceptable. Would your kids want Putrid Pizza, Germ Worm, Ear Wax Ball, Gutter Grub, Puke Pod or Flu Virus? ‘Course not. So all these representations of the mangled, the germy, the rotten that they laugh about do invoke their opposite idea about better choices.
Garbage is Tops
The trash pack toys and host of trash pack games to go with them have made garbage day, trash collecting chore less -and as desirable, looked forward too by many kids as is any amusement park. Home chores of collecting their trash in bags or packs, or pails, their old toys to be rid of, can now be fun filled adventures, thanks to trash packs. Kids know that “trashies” are all real stuff–fun filled garbage–rotten food, bugs, rodents, deadly diseases, broken things. They’re funny in the new dark humored squishy macabre way that kids find funny today. Move over pretty and flashy trucks, and move in– a trash pack truck. Move over cute Ken dolls, and move in– a trash pack skull. Scummy Skull is probably the most awesome because it is most gruesome with maggots in the eye sockets.
Trash at the Dinner Table? No Way!
Trash pack toys are squishy, vulgar mutants which makes them the cute stuff for kids today. Their names tell all,–moldy milk, putrid pizza, sicken chicken, scummy gum (which may put a kybosh on chewing gum). Others might just take the place themselves of some of those gross table manners you’d like to push off to other kids–so let the “trashies” take that brunt! Flu virus trashie is probably scary enough to get the kids to remember about washing hands to get rid of those germs.
Now you don’t have to wait for trash day pickup or ask any trash collectors where to buy trash packs to get the best trash pack characters because you can easily get the coolest, the collections, the trash pack games, and the trash pack toys that are the must haves with the touch on your online command.
The Marvel of Machinery at Work
Tossing and dumping, what else do little kids love to do better that that–so right at your online site you will see the play sets that set up all the fun games. You’ll see the trash launcher play set–the apparatus that teaches kids where to dump (not in their beds or on the floors or couches). The right receptacles are with the trash pack dunk ‘n dumpster play sets and the trash pack trash atomic drum play set, and the trash pack wheelies in play set set, of course the main necessity–the garbage truck itself. So not only are the kids mesmerized to run to the windows to watch and listen to the garbage machinery at work in their neighborhood, but they can lose their own “trashies” in atomic ooze, or squish them or lift them to safety in an elevator, or crunch them and compact them. The trash pack garbage truck is also great for storage for 10 garbage cans as well.
Toys to Collect. Trade and Reward, Too
Like one of kids most favorite sugary candies, these squishy “trashies” are like gummies gone gangrene. And there are hundreds of them to love and collect, and trade with friends, or store and display. They can keep records of their trash pack characters online on the website, or play various other games.
So which are your kids’ favorites already? Many are the Sludge Can and Dead Tyre lovers, others love the Germ-Worm, and the Bin Sects, or the Hard Rubbish Grubz. The “trashies” series packs have a handy collector guide inside. Moms, these collectibles are always perfect rewards for chores done right, or good grades or behaviors.
What is really cool about these ugly but cute toys is that they are not boring because they all represent real things you really find in refuse or garbage dump, or littering on the side of the road–like Stench Fries, Smelly Sock, Loo Paper, and Awful Pie barfing up green remains. Squashed Wheel–a whole car crushed into a cube –is one of the most amazing, and Dead Tyre is viewed as comical like the annoying orange with road kill stuck on it.
You can get the 12 Trashies pack or the 5 Trashies Pack from either series 1 or 2 easily online. But trust me, all will be on the kids wish list, so let Grandmas know about these too. Because you love seeing the kids care about putting their trash where it belongs.
Mateys, and moms! Hoist a flag, watch out for the Jolly Roger, and give your best crew member a Jake and the Never Land Pirates birthday party he or she will crow over. If you don’t go this route, you’re liable to hear the likes of “yay hey, no way,” copying Izzy, the second pirate in command to Jake, or, an “aw coconuts,” one of Cubby’s favorite phrases.

Have mermaids in your family or invitees? They’re all part of the Jake and the Never Land Pirates characters, proving that great helpful secrets come from those deep water gals, so no true pirate ever excludes females from anything!
Song, Dance and Games
Song and dance is a great part of kids’ birthday parties and this show revs it up pirate style on Disneyjunior.com. Jake and the Never Land pirates joining your own birthday party will probably love to offer their own versions of some of these funny ditties by Sharkey and Bones. You know how kids today, from the youngest ages on up, are all the next Bieber, One Direction, Katie, Taylor or Rihanna.
Of course, the well known cat and mouse chase scenario of Hook and Tick Tock lives on with this pirate show, always trying to troublesome disrupting the plans. But the show provides great role models–stressing teamwork, respect, and kindness–so you have it made to avoid rowdiness in your afternoon pirate birthday games. Here are some great suggestions from tried and true variations, with pirate style variations.
Here’s the Captain’s Attention game. First explain the seafaring commands: walk the plank, pull down the sails, pull up the lifeboats, mop the deck, check the horizon, throw down the fishing line, dance a jig. You begin as Captain, players stand at attention and salute. Captain calls out a command and players pretend to do them–but ONLY if captain FIRST says “attention” and they salute. Otherwise, they should jus remain at ease–so if not, it’s man overboard. The last one standing is the new captain.
Use a board for a walk the plank game, with chocolate coins prizes at the end. The board can lie on top of a blue tarp or table cover for falling into the drink. Add a plastic crocodile for drama.
Here’s the time to use your treasure map for X marks the spot. Hide a treasure chest with their goody bag treasures all nicely packed in your special Jake and the Never Land pirates loot bags 9from your trusty online source, of course). The maps have a pictured route that you also “mark” in your home with appropriate taped matching pictures with arrows pointing the way.
If your party is outdoors, have a “shiver me timbers” blast with a water cannon fight with squirt toys. Or cannonballs fight with black balloons. If you have a pool–regular or kiddies, your trusty online source has an honorable Jake and the Never Land Pirates beach ball, and arm floaties.
Also online are some great games for either indoors or outdoors for a change of pace. There’s the Jake and the Never Land Pirates 3 foot floor puzzle, the lenticular puzzle, the pirates puzzle, and check out the Jake and the pirates discovery game.
What’s to Eat?
When your pirate gang finally sits for food or cake, you’ll have ready everything you need, of course easily hooked online with your large 9″ and smaller 7″ plates (although for sure the kids would opt for 9″ cake slices if they could! You can get those awesome edible toppers, or make a simple pirate hat or treasure chest cake. An easy treasure chest cake is made by stacking two 13 x 9 inch cakes for the chest. Then you attach a treasure chest top made from a foil covered cardboard with some wooden skewers. Then you cover the whole thing slathering with frosting and candies for jewels.
Food specialties are usually things like Captain Hook Hot Diggity Dogs, Gold Nuggets Chicken Nuggets, Doughnut doubloons, Barnacle Burgers, Fruit and cheese Pirate sword kabobs, make blue jello in clear plastic cups with a orange wedge on top and stick a toothpick with a flag for a pirate ships on the ocean.
There’s an Ever in Never
No doubt your pirate crew will never want to leave your Never Land birthday party moaning “aw, coconuts”. But your own Jake or Cory or Izzy will be lucky to be able to take along a pirate booty treat any day in a perfect Jake and the pirates tin lunch box–either pirate attitude or X marks the spot design (available at your handy online source of course), and, there will no doubt always be treasures to take to Grandma’s or friends in a perfect Jake and the Never Land Pirate tote bag.

Perfect too for helping her pick out letters for the words on the invitations, or because she’s a big 5 or 6 and can read words herself, all the better to squeal and squeak with.

Ask her if she thinks she needs napkins or not, and remind her of that yummy frosting to come that covers the face.

Online is the perfect Minnie mouse cake decoration with 8 candles and holders–which gives you some extras to put on a separate Minnie cake for the special mouse herself who must have a guest seat supplied. And seated will be the star mouse from the 10′ plush pack of both Mickey mouse and Minnie mouse.
If you want to make the Minnie mouse cake look like a mouse, you can trace a large head on wax paper, turn it over and trace your outline with a tiny tipped icing tube. After you frosted the cake smooth and its firm and crusted, turn over the tracing with the frosting tracing down on top and press lightly to give you a pattern to follow. You can build it up with thin frosting tubes add pink jelly bean bow, and draw in long eye lashes.
A Mouse House Fit for any Friend
Any lucky Laura wild love their Minnie mouse party to look like a playhouse (even if your house already does!) Easy as smiling and saying cheese, right. When each party guest comes in Laura gets to give them mouse ears, pink hair bows, (or Mickey bow ties). Before hand, Laura can help cut out mouse heads large enough to write each little mouse guest’s name to put near the door or wall. Laura must have other Disney friends stuffed animals waiting on a blanket in the corner.
You might plan on a large card board box with already cut out door flaps and windows and the party goers can decorate it, or have 2 for a couple of groups if its a large party. And, or in addition to that, a nice large Minnie mouse for each guest to pass through when they enter the door, and get their mouse ears for the party.
Games and Gifts are Big for Minnie Mouse
For your game playing, there are so many to choose from. A group can put together a Mickey mouse clubhouse floor puzzle which is a nice sized 3 foot puzzle to give kids a chance to get a piece in. You can do pin the bow on Minnie, hide the styrofoam cheese treasure hunt, bean bag toss with a nice cutout of Minnie head to feed Minnie.
Now there has to be gifts and presents galore. For her bff’s she’ll probably want the perfect mini mouse party tote bag proudly picturing Minnie dancing amount the flowers ..just like she dances…of course, Mattie will demonstrate that dance for you. In fact, you might add that one to your party game plan for a grand prize winner—each best friend does the mini flower dance (or of course, the Mickey dance for the boys!). Everyone is a winner, and prizes about online with winners like the minim mouse fashion watch and hair clips, or grand prize check out great Minnie and Mickey mouse puzzles. She’ll definitely want to choose the adorable tin lunch box with Minnie frolicking, going to the park stepping out with the cutest doggie in the world.
Food Beyond the Minnie Mouse Cake
Your celebrating little mouse may only want birthday cake, cookies and punch, but they all will eat some mouseable foods. Cheese and crackers of course, pancakes and you can design the stack with large pancakes in the middle for the mouse head and 2 stacks of mini pancakes for the ears.
Cupcakes can either be a planned activity and decorate with 2 chocolate cookies stuck in the plentiful frosting for ears, use tiny M&Ms for eyes and nose.
Your little Matilda will thank you for an amazing birthday party, just like sweet, appreciative, loving Minnie herself is forever.
Video game figures can often just be about jumping, whamming and collecting, but kids who play skylanders spyros adventure learn math and statistics almost like magic with their adventurous games. To be sure, they’re not thinking school and studies. So it’s like an amazing osmosis because tossing around and keeping track of numbers, numbered lists, measuring, adding up, subtracting, it’s all part of the fun of the skylanders game.
Spyro Worlds Can Travel with Stats
In fact the whole Spyro world raises that magical feeling from seeing a character or game figure come to life, to the special abilities of these spyro figures that even remember from game to game what they’ve done. As 10-year old Ethan pointed out, “they can remember just whatever you’ve done with them like when I take my Spyros adventure Ignitor Figure over to use at Larry’s house.” Larry just got an adventure pack and I’m getting one next week so I have to see which ones have the best stats and what they can and can’t do.”
Stats, as Ethan mentioned, stands for statistics which are all those great numbers the kids all are tossing around. They have to know and compare the numbers that measure the attack force or the strength of the characters weapons, the agility they have like how high they jump and how fast they move, their defense which is how much damage they can take from attacks, how fast they can recover and get healthy from attacks. What makes these stats such a mind working exercise is that they are always adding on or subtracting off of their Spyro figures stats as they play the adventure.
Legend of the Spyro Makes Kids Like Matt Math Wise
Here’s what Len says about why he adds on to certain spyro new choices. “I started off with the Legendary adventure Pack with Legendary Bash, chop chop and spyro, that’s one Earth, one Undead, and one Magic in case you didn’t know the worlds, but then I wanted to get all the magic characters because it makes my stats stronger. So now I’m collecting Spyro, Dark spyro legendary Spyro voodood, double trouble and wrecking ball.”
Now Matthew’s smart mom checked in to see if Matthew aged 10 really was math wise about these spyro figures to make sure he was getting their value! And, she found, like the other kids, he was right on, whiz bang, with the stats. He spouts out a list that mom just has to believe must be true. He says he thinks the best stats are with the Skylander adventure packs because these are some exclusive figures and also have the best new adventures to go on.
But mom also has a daughter, Claudia, and does Claudia like the legend of the Spyro as much as she likes the legend of Bloody Mary she heard at camp because certainly spyro adventure and worlds sounds like boys kinds of things. Absolutely, Claudia is in, “there is no gender special treatment here”, praises Claudia, and likewise mom. Both boys and girls rave about the female characters in the Skyland adventure just like they are all in it together.
Getting into the Air and Being a Master with Spyro figures
Claudia has saved all her chore allowance and has all the Air figures. She says they are really strong as a group. Claudia explains I didn’t like whirlwind so much at first, but then I realized she can shoot up and over gates and my Sonic has saved me with her sonic cream, and guess what, her eggs are great spider bait! I know some people say Stealth Elf in the Life element is the best, and you can get through a level with no damage, with quick blades. I heard she can do 6 knives at a time, each one doing 9 damage, and she can use all six knives in an attack even every second.” Whew! That’s a lot of numbers to know right there!
The thing that’s really cool is that for kids it’s easy for them to take the time and trouble to compare, rate, and understand the numbers because they’re proud of these values. As Peter explains, “I am the Portal Master and this week I got great experience points, and got increased in my Lord of Lightning abilities and upgraded to a Level7. But his defense clouds make him pretty powerful too.” Peter’s mom of course is all for encouraging Peter to recognize his own strengths and to build on them just like his game figures!
Besides for the particular figures, Skylander Spyros is a fabulous adventure story itself since it was written by 2 great writers–Sokolove and Cohen–who worked on Pixar’s Toy Story film. What could be more winning in quality kids entertainment that that!
